How about we have a giveaway?
I want to send you one of my newest products for Demdaco.
The Blessings Tree!
I know it’s early and not Valentine’s Day yet, but this Blessings Tree will be shipped to the winner just in time to decorate it for Valentine’s Day!
Let me tell you how this all started…
Years ago I had the idea to let our kids collect sticks and twigs from the yard and we spray painted them and placed them in a flower pot with styrofoam, covered the top with moss and created our very own Blessings Tree. We made paper leaves for Thanksgiving and all wrote what we were thankful for. At Valentine’s we made paper hearts and wrote the names of those we love, things we love and places we love. At Easter, we hung purchased ornaments and made paper eggs to attach to the branches and wrote about God’s love and what Easter really means…at Christmas, for birthdays….you get the idea! Nothing fancy…I’m talking painted twigs and paper and hot glue.
So in brainstorming creative new product ideas with Demdaco about a year ago, I mentioned my idea for the Blessings Tree….a centerpiece for a family to use for various occasions…an opportunity for family interaction, family discussion, and something to really stir the creative juices in your home.
We developed scripture and inspirational text with tiny elements of my art and that is now wrapped around all the branches and the flower pot base. The branches are thick and durable, but bendable. We developed clips and hanging ornaments but you can be creative and truly make your own!
The Blessings Tree can be used for a centerpiece for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day, New Year’s Day, birthday parties, teacher luncheons, church or Sunday school events, Confirmation, Baptism celebration, conferences, bridesmaid luncheons, weddings, rehearsal dinners…..can you think of more???

This is so beautiful! We currently have a “Blessings Jar” where we keep notes of special blessings that happen in our lives with the intention of reading them all at Thanksgiving. This is a much prettier option than our plain jar!
It’s so pretty and would serve not only as a decoration, but as a reminder of so many important and valuable things!

We have a lot of adoptions in our church family every year. I think it would be neat to add to every time we have an adoption.

What a sweet and uplifting giveaway! My family and I would use this blessings tree (just an idea right now, but could change) by choosing one of the blessings off the tree, say “Family” and plan specific activities to enjoy that blessing that week. I would also think it would be great to add to it with really specific things in addition to the ones already there.
It’s beautiful!
Jill
This is a funny coincidence because I just “liked” you yesterday on Facebook! Your work is beautiful, uplifting and happy.
Thanks for this opportunity.

I love the whimsy.
I work at the Early Childhood Center for our school district and I would donate the tree to them to put up in our Conference room – reminders to us of the important things like family, hope, joy and love.

I would love to use it during on Sunday dinners. A great way to start out our week – thinking about our blessings and how we can help others in the up coming week. Also, shared it and liked it on Facebook!
We would put this in our upstairs entertainment / play room. Our goal for that room is to be whimsical and cozy and this is a great centerpiece in this vision.
The fact that the work of putting this together is done for me makes me the most excited. I used to do this many years ago (although it never looked this cute!). The effort of finding the right branches, piecing them toghether in the right container and then decorating them took time. I love that it’s done for me!

Love, Love , LOVE this blessing tree! I just shouted a big “love it” when I saw it this morning! Our family would use the blessing tree as a centerpiece on our kitchen table all year round! During dinner we would take time each night to talk about a blessing that occurred during our day and also how we tried to be a blessing to someone that day. I just LOVE this tree! Thank you for creating such wonderful, joyful pieces!!!
I am not on facebook, but I am going to forward your email to friends to share the blessing tree!!!
My family made their own blessing tree this past thanksgiving and each day in November, we added a new “ornament” that we were thankful for and then we prayed for them that day……it made us all more aware of all of our blessings. Thank you for creating this awesome tree! Woo hoo!
This blessing tree is going to be my new “go to” wedding gift! How special for a new couple to start out their married lived together focusing on the blessings!
I am going to let our church gift store know about this awesome blessing tree!!!
The Blessing Tree is a wonderful idea! I would like using it on someone’s birthday to highlight all the special things about them!

We just moved into a new home, and now that we have places and spaces to decorate, this would be such an encouragement to our family. What a beautiful, tangible place to mark seasons of thanksgiving through the year!! Our three young kids would LOVE it!!

What would be a cool addition to your product line would be a Blessing Tree with those tiny led lights in or on the branches! Battery operated so the tree could still be placed anywhere.
We would use the tree as blessings for ourbirthdays and holidays! ! Also special times when we feel empowered. !! I love the type of tree and the colored tags to go on it. It is full of excitement! !
Just pinned it and now posting to my Facebook.

So fun and I love the colors. This would be a great conversation piece to have on the kitchen table and encourage the kids and guests to share what they are thankful for each night.
*pinned it!
What do I love the most about it? Hmmmm…. Besides the fun colors that match my kitchen, the cute birds, the branches wrapped in print? I love it all!
I would place this in my front hallway for a decoration and let the kids see it each day as a reminder of how blessed we all are today!

I would love to have this blessings tree for my family!
We have devotions at night and prayer at the dinner table.
This would be great to incorporate into those times!!
Love !!!!
My sweetheart is having his shoulder replaced right around Valentine’s Day. I think this would be a good way to keep in mind all of the blessings in our life even during a somewhat difficult time.
I am excited that something so beautiful can also reflect a concept so deeply meaningful.
This tree is so fun would live to have.
Most excited that this tree would make us focus on our Blessings and good things that we love and things that happen instead if letting the bad stuff take up too much time!
Each night, either at dinner or before bed, we “thank God for the day and all of our many blessings…” then we all name one blessing from the day and thank God specifically for that. This would be a great, beautiful way to visually see those blessings!
The versatility and colorfulness just exudes happiness – how can you NOT be thankful? So creative!
I of course already LOVE MB on facebook!
I pinned the tree onto my gift ideas, but then also repinned with the giveaway link!
Left a facebook comment with link to the giveaway too!

Liked on Facebook . Have just found your blog-lovely work! So bold and bright! Lovely! X
Wow…I would love a blessings tree…I pinned this to my Pinterest on my Christ’s Love board.
and I hope you get a lot of feed back from it. God is love and Christ’s Love sustains us….
I think the biggest blessing to me would be just to look at it over and over and marvel of what the Lord has done in my life……We all need a blessings tree.

Nancy Ramseur said: This would be wonderful to use for Lent. I have felt that for Lent that “giving up something for Lent” seemed to put the focus on self. This could be used to put the focus on what Christ has sacrificed for us. Use the 40 days of Lent to give thanks for all He gives to us.
I would the blessing tree in my home to remind my family how very blessed we are to have each other, and all that God has seen fit to bless us with.
Wow! This is great! How about for birthdays?! Each family member could write something they love about the birthday girl (which would be my ALICE tomorrow!).
What excites me the most? It is a tangible way for the family to come together and express love, gratitude, remember blessings, and praise.
Mentioned this on Facebook ….
and I am already a facebook fan!!
(avoiding pinterest for now!)
I LOVE the Blessing Tree! I would have many uses for the tree and would use it in my home and sometimes use it at school – so it would travel from home and school occasionally, since I would love it at both! At home it would remind my family and friends of our true blessings and sometimes I would use it at school – to show the children how thankful we should be for the blessings on the tree.
Also pinned on Pinterest and already like on FB!
Love your Blessings Tree!!! I have been looking for something like this for a while. Each Thanksgiving when our family gathers we always share what we are thankful for and we have been hanging our “blessings” on a Christmas card holder, so I am very excited about getting one of these!!! Also would like to use it for our Daily Blessings that we look for from God each day… Beautiful!!!

what about using it at a baby shower? Guests can write a blessing or encouragement for the mom, baby, and family!
I love your idea of using the Thankful tree for all the different holidays and not just Thanksgiving or finding unique ways to use it as a blessing tree/thankful tree. It makes such a beautiful center piece! Love all the things that come with it.
What I love about it the most is it is prettier then my “twig” Thankful tree we make out of twigs from our backyard every year for our Thanksgiving thankful tree!
And this is it for me…not on facebook, pininterest or any other social media!…
